People also report frequently on McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc... crashes or self immolation. Tesla is the only one crying about it though. Read more

So... stop reporting crashes because some people are idiots? Ok, in that case we should probably make headlines illegal in general to prevent idiots from spouting nonsense and half-truths. Read more

To be fair to the media in this case, the Tesla system failed to classify a fire truck (i.e. a not-exactly-inconspicuous vehicle) as something that it should avoid hitting. That sounds like a pretty big failure to me; certainly it’s worth pointing out that the system perhaps isn’t ready for prime-time in that state. Read more

Any exec worth their salt knows you don’t release any statements until your own internal investigation gets to the bottom of a bad PR situation. I have to agree with Sergio 100% in both spirit, and choice of expletives.

Lyin’ Guardian (very overrated) is trying to say we discriminate. Wrong. Desperate for clicks. Sad. We will win! People are saying this. Read more

As a photojournalist who’s worked for major newspapers for 15 years, I have seen this happen before. Once. Read more

What’s stupid is that car makers are fully capable of meeting the efficiency standards. Engines have become vastly more efficient over the decades. But instead of that translating to gains in mpg, it translates to gains in horsepower while mpg remains stagnant. Instead of stuffing another 100hp into a Ford family Read more

So Tesla has still not hit their guidance. This was where they were supposed to be in October if you go by what Musk was saying well into August. If you go by even earlier comments from Musk this is where they should have been at the end of last July to the beginning of August.
