Looks like the root issue is allowing these tires, rated only for 65mph, to be installed on vehicles that WILL be driven at speeds higher than that unless the vehicle is electronically limited.... which it most likely wasn’t. Read more

I’m sure some of these unfortunate people suffered radial fractures as a result of Goodyear’s aggressive cover up and spinning of the story.
