We have almost the opposite here in Texas. Tech looks over the bike and checks for loose things, a proper throttle return, and such. Noise level is irrelevant.

Every trackday org I’ve been to will look over the bike to make sure it passes tech. Some are more detail oriented about this. I cant imagine England is very different.
