“If I knew then what I know now.” Who hasn’t said that once or twice in their lives? It’s especially true when you spend years developing a new skill, like motorcycling.

So we’re here to help you out, newbie rider. Our question of the day is this: What should every rider know before they start riding?

He’s busy writing up news and reviews for the ‘Splitter faithful, but I asked Sean MacDonald what he thought and here’s what he said:

That bikes balance themselves. That a $150 helmet can be as safe as a $1000 one. That engine size and power aren’t correlated.
