Late last month, the Washington State Patrol pulled their last new Ford Crown Victoria out of the fleet stable and assigned it to an officer.
This is the end of an era, as the Crown Vic has been the car of choice for the WSP for the last 25 years.
The moment of the handoff was caught on camera and posted on their Facebook page. It was also the same day that a new Chevrolet Caprice PPV was being doled out as well. It's the past meeting the future.

We love the panthers, so we're definitely sad to see them go.
