There's been an increase in whole ATM thefts across the country according to law enforcement sources, especially at gas stations and convenience stores. Given the machines can hold multiple cartridges and each cartridge holds up to 1,000 bills there's a serious incentive to nab them with stolen vehicles and then burn the trucks to the ground. Some of them even use stolen forklifts.
What happened to the friendly stickup or carjacking? This is so impersonal.
