Princess Diana Car Headed for US Museum

A car belonging to perhaps the most famous Ford Escort aficionado ever will join the collection of Illinois' Volo Auto Museum. It's a black, 1996 Rolls Royce Spur used by Princess Diana, chosen for the collection by the museum's owner Greg Grams. The Roller transported Diana to public engagements during a visit to the midwest in 1996, one year before her death in a Paris car accident. The depreciation-busting Spur had been last owned by a Las Vegas woman, before making its way into the hands of a dealer who verified the car's history. Fans of mid-1990s Spurs and morbid followers of dead royals' belongings make your reservations now.
