2025 Honda Civic Si From Every Angle
The refreshed Civic Si is as handsome as it ever was.
The refreshed 2025 Honda Civic Si is a fabulous little sports sedan. Very few other cars on the market are so well-rounded at such a solid price point. Out the door, the Civic Si you see here will cost you $31,345, making it cheaper than the rest of the competition. At that price, you're getting a whole lot of tech, safety equipment, fabulous driving characteristics and a wonderful six-speed manual transmission all wrapped in a very sporty yet understated body.
You can read my full review of the 2025 Civic Si right here, but I wanted to take this time to highlight 1) how nice-looking the car is and 2) how great a lot of the features are. There are a ton of little, thoughtful touches that take the 2025 Civic Si from being a good car to being a great car, even if it makes a lot less power (in theory) than its competition like the Volkswagen GTI, Hyundai Elantra N and Subaru WRX.
Without further ado, here is the 2025 Honda Civic Si... from every angle.
Starting Up Front
The biggest exterior change for the 2025 Civic Si is its front facia. Honda tweaked it a bit for this refresh, adding a bit of a more aggressive, more sculpted look. It's still very handsome if ya ask me.
Yes, Yes, Yes
This little badge means business. If you see this on a Civic, you know you're in for a good time. Sure, the Type R exists, but this is far more attainable for 99 percent of people.
Nicer Than It Needs To Be
A real highlight of the Civic in general is its interior. It has no right to be as nice as it is, yet here we are. Honda added a few sportier touches like red stitching. red trims and red seats to up the ante. Overall, it's just a really nice place to spend your time.
Looking Sharp
I really dig this little kink at the bottom of the rear quarter window. It just gives the whole car a more aggressive look.
Enough To Get The Job Done
The 2025 Civic Si's carry-over 1.5-liter turbocharged four-popper "only" makes 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, meaning it's outgunned by most of its competition. Don't worry though, some dynos are reading a lot more power than advertised out of this engine. Even if they weren't the Si's sub-3,000-pound curb weight and fantastic handling characteristics make it a performance winner regardless.
Warm My Ass, Why Don’t You?
The Civic Si keeps automatic single-zone climate control for 2025. That's nice. What's really fabuluous, though, is that we finally are getting heated seats in the Civic Si. Eat your heart out, Canada. the U.S. gets to warm up our butts now, too. This is proof that bullying works.
LED For You And Me
I just love the way this car looks, man. I don't know. Maybe it isn't for everyone, but I just really dig it.
Sometimes, More Screen Is Good
Another big win for 2025 Civic Si buyers is this screen. The gauge cluster is now a full 10.2-unch screen. Before it was half digital and half analog. That sucked, and I'm very happy Honda remedied it. Adding to the fun is the series of shift lights that flash and beep as you go up and down the rev range. It's just fun to watch.
Don’t Spoil The Fun
All Civic Sis come with a gloss-black rear spoiler. I don't know how much it really does, but it adds a nice little sporty element to the rear of the car. I can't say no to that.
Fulfilling Its Civic Duties
Under that spoiler, you'll find a fairly capacious trunk with 14.4 cubic feet of cargo space. That might now sound like a ton, but it's not bad for a car with a footprint as small as the Civic Si's. It is a Honda after all. Adding to the practicality are two pull tabs that can drop the rear seats from the trunk for when you've got extra junk you'd like to take home with you.
Red Means It’s Faster
These seats are so supremely comfortable. Sure, it would be nice if they were electric rather than manual, but that's really not such a big deal, is it? It helps keep the weight down, and that tradeoff is worth it to me. Plus, once again, they're heated!!!
Simple, Yet Functional
The backseat of the Civic Si isn't huge. No compact sedan's is, but it's not bad. Honda says rear passengers are treated to 37.1 inches of headroom, 37.4 inches of legroom and 56 inches of shoulder room. It was more than enough for my 6'1" body to sit semi-comfortably behind my driving position.
Sidewinder
You'll be hard-pressed to find a car this cheap that handles this well and fits this much shit in it. Sure, the Toyotabu is out there, but it's barely practical as a car. This could really be your only vehicle, and you can still have a ton of fun in the corners. I'll be honest... I want one.
I Don’t Know About This
The Civic Si has redesigned 18-inch wheels for 2025. They look nice enough. I don't have any real issues with their design. I just wish they weren't black. I need this trend to die out.
SEC Country
I wasn't going to go to SEC Country and not listen to "Delta Dawn." Luckily for me, this was super easy thanks to the Civic Si's easy-to-use infotainment system and wireless AppleCarplay.
Slick Six-Speed
The 2025 Civic Si's six-speed manual transmission is as good as ever. It's really what Honda does best. This year, the Si has auto-rev matching on every downshift, even 2>1. That wasn't the case on Sis of old, and it means you can trick people into thinking you're a much better driver than you really are.
Finishing Out Back
Out back, not too much changes for the 2025 Civic Si. Sure, it gets slightly darker taillights, but everything else is just about the same. I've got no issue with that, though. The 11th-generation Civic is, and always has been, a great-looking little car.
I really love what Honda decided to do with this mid-cycle refresh. It knows it has a really good car on its hands with this Civic Si, so it didn't want to mess with a good thing. Small changes and a few added features make all the difference for this car.
