2024 Honda Prologue From Every Angle
The 2024 Prologue isn't much of a Honda, but it's still a great-looking electric crossover.
The 2024 Honda Prologue is an all-new electric crossover from Honda that is, in essence, meant to hold down the fort until Honda can build its own electric vehicles. You see, this thing says "Honda" on the outside, but underneath, it's 100 percent a General Motors Ultium-platformed vehicle. That means that while the Prologue is a decent electric vehicle, it isn't much of a Honda.
All that being said, the Prologue is still an excellent-looking crossover. It's a return to a cleaner, simpler time in Honda's design language. There's absolutely no busyness here, inside or out, but the outside is really where the Prologue shines.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing particularly egregious about the crossover's interior. It just happens to be a lot more GM than Honda. However, the outside is all Honda, and that's a really good thing because the Prologue looks fantastic.
Now that I've reviewed this car, both in writing and on video, why don't we take some time to look at the 2024 Honda Prologue Elite from every blue-tastic angle?
Hey There, Honda Prologue
I've been blinded by the light of the 2024 Honda Prologue.
Easy To Use Is The Name Of The Game
This is all so General Motors it hurts. Everything works well enough, but you can't shake the feeling that you're sitting in something that is lying to you.
Things To Come
Much like Joe Flacco, this Prologue is ELITE. iykyk
You Could Nap On That Floor
Look at all that room and medium-grade leather! There are so many shenanigans you can get up to in the back of a Prologue.
Clean And Smooth, Baby
Clean, simple body lines define the 2024 Prologue, and that design mantra is refreshing when you look at some of the other EVs out there.
Hey, I’ve Seen This Before
Last year, I had this exact HVAC control layout in the Chevy Colorado ZR2. It worked really well in that truck, and it works well here. Too bad it's piano black.
A Good Design With GM Parts
A six-lug bolt pattern on a mid-size car is a dead giveaway that this is a GM product.
Plastic Less-Than-Fantastic
This is the hardest, cheapest feeling slab of plastic I've come across in a very long time.
Get Your Motor Running
No frunk to be found here! Like other Ultium-platformed vehicles, all of the mechanical gubbins live under the hood.
Column Shifter Supremacy, But Not Like This
Oh, buddy. This is lifted right out of GM's other EVs. I'm all for column-mounted shifters, but this is egregious parts sharing.
A Bootfull
Look at all the junk you can fit in this trunk. All hail EV packaging.
H o n d a
Honda switched up its font for the Prologue. I like it!
Check Out My Ports, Bro
Plug 'er in!
A Badge Of Honor
This badge is the only thing inside the Prologue that lets you know it is indeed a Honda.
Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Wiper
Wook at that widdle wiper!
Room For The Whole Family
One of the huge benefits of EVs in the creative ways they can be packaged. I'm 6'1", and I fit amazingly well behind my driving position in the Prologue.
Here’s Lookin’ At You
So, the Prologue is almost certainly not a Honda, but it's still a really nice-looking electric crossover.
