Bask In The Beauty Of The 2024 Acura Integra Type S

Feast your eyes on the latest in the Type S stable

Recently, I got the chance to get behind the wheel of the 2024 Acura Integra Type S. The full review is still in the works, and until it runs I can't say much, but there's one thing about the car I can tell you right now: It's damn good looking.

Shades of the RSX, the TLX, and yes — the old Integras you know and love. So let's take a look at the new Integra Type S, inside and out, and appreciate just how pretty this car really is.

Downright Scenic

From a design standpoint, the Integra Type S is blue. The sky, on this day in California, was not particularly blue. If you don't love the lighting in these shots, neither do I, but I take what I can get.

That’s Heritage, Baby

Much like the NSX Type S (one of the best vehicles I've driven, if not the single best), the Integra Type S has a badge that says Type S on it.

Lying In Wait

This Integra wasn't being driven when I took this photo. It was lunchtime.

Type S

Two of them (two of them).

The Molded Logo Returns

Look at it! Right there under the headlight, just like the Type R from your bedroom poster.

More Tailpipes, More Fun

I can confirm that the Integra Type S has no less than three tailpipes. To my knowledge, it has no more, either.

All Lined Up

Some folks like to shoot only their car at a press event, finding isolated areas where they can act like Mom said it's their turn on the Integra and everyone else has to wait. I figure there are few opportunities to shoot so many of these cars together — why not get a group photo?

His Pills, His Hands, His Jeans

Okay, fine, the Integra in the background is white rather than gray. But if you think I'm gonna have a blue car next to a grayscale car and not write Halsey lyrics, you truly don't know me well.

The Winding Road

Why does anyone live on the East Coast? The West Coast has the better roads, the better weather, the better street tacos. What else matters in life?

TK-421

Press events have more cars than you think. However many cars you expect, add 50 percent. That'll probably get you in the ballpark.

Standing Out

Do I wish I'd gotten a tester with the bronze wheels? Sure. But you can do much, much worse than what I got.

Thiccboi

Those wide fenders, exclusive to the Type S? They're wide. Objectively.

The Loudest Noise You’ve Ever Heard

Have you listened to the new 100 Gecs album yet? It's more approachable than their earlier stuff, but still so fun. The mixing and mastering, too, are just leagues ahead of the first LP.

Getting Out There

Keep your eyes peeled for the full review of the Integra Type S. Until then, bask in these shots, and imagine what the full impressions will feel like.
