2017 Jaguar E-Pace: Jag Made It Do A Barrel-Roll To Make It Interesting

I’m close to accepting the crossover takeover. I’m close. Like with the revival in high-waisted pants, I’ve accepted that I have no control over the matter. But damn do cars like the 2017 Jaguar E-Pace make it hard.


You can check your gas level and mileage and warm up or cool it down with a smartphone! (Which sounds like an opportunity ripe for pranking.) It has all-wheel-drive! It has a bunch of cameras and sensors to help you drive good! There’s a wearable key option! Exclamation points!

You get several engine choices: a weaker 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or a stronger 2.0-liter turbocharged engine good for 296 horsepower and a claimed zero to 60 time of 5.9 seconds. There’s also a diesel option. Prices start at $38,600.

If all that made you sleepy, Jaguar jumped the car.
