My heart is still in the process of growing three times its normal size after seeing this video of a man scooping up a wild rabbit from the side of the road to save it from the 90,000-acre Thomas wildfire.
The daring bunny rescue was captured by KABC along Highway 1 in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The man pulled over on to the shoulder and, after a few tense moments, was able to lift the rabbit out of harms way. He didn’t want to be interviewed, but many hopped on KABC’s social media to praise this guy’s actions. And, while his actions were incredibly dangerous and you certainly Should Not Do It, I have to admit, it is nice to see that someone out there is looking out for even the smallest creatures in all this devastation.
