This Engine-Swapped Citroën 2CV Is My New Favorite Drift Machine

I’m used to seeing old Citroëns lean way over into turns, but here’s a “2CV Speciale” rally car that gets delightfully sideways instead. It’s a car worthy of many, many giggles at how delightfully silly it is.

It’s hard not to fall in love with this wacky little car. It’s obviously not stock, with YouTuber azrel07 saying that it has the engine from a Suzuki GSX-R 1100 sport bike, good for at least triple digits worth of horsepower (depending on its tuning). Mind you, the 2CV comes with 29 horsepower or less, depending on the model.

Rally more strange cars, people. Put powerful sportsbike engines in teeny tiny hoonmobiles and you’ll make my day.
