Somebody spent seven years working on blending a 1984 El Camino and a 1987 Buick Grand National, and now it’s for sale on eBay for a Buy It Now price of $55,000 with open bidding. Wow.

This El National or Grand Camino, as it’s called in the ad, is Buick in the front, surgically replacing the fascia of the Chevy, and all Camino in the back, with a bumper delete, covered bed and questionable wing.

It’s powered by a 4.1 liter Stage II turbo Buick Performance special block with modifications, and a dyno run set a claimed power output of almost 500 horsepower at the wheels.

The interior also gets the Grand National touches, and overall the seller claims to have put only 3,000 miles on the car and never in the rain! He also claims to have put about $95,000 into the build over its long lifetime, but it’s already up to $44,000 on its eBay listing’s highest bid.
