The Quail is infamous around these parts for inducing a complete mental break in Raphael Orlove, my esteemed(?) colleague. I, on the other hand, didn’t even make it that far. I was broken just there on that golf-course-cum-parking-lot.
I thought I was better than this. I thought I’d be steely-eyed and jaded in the face of such incredible beauty and style right in front of me, all of it having been actually driven there by the cars’ respective owners.
I was not. But it was still a hell of a show.
(Please note: The Porsche 959 at the top of this post is not actually in this video, as it was on the other side of the lot and we only saw it after we stopped filming. You probably don’t want to see that on video, either, as nothing is pretty about joy-induced projectile vomiting. Also, it was parked right next to a Ferrari F12tdf. Help. Send help.)
