This past weekend at the St. John’s Golf Course in Plymouth, I bore witness to the 38th annual Concours d’Elegance of America, and even after a few days of recovery, I’m only now regaining my ability to even. Have a look at the cars in these photos and you’ll understand.

The Concours d’Elegance of America is one of the summer’s best car shows in Michigan, even if the entry fee costs as much as a decent Jeep four-liter water pump. This year I was able to weasel my way in for free (I knew a guy), but even if I had to drop $40, it would have been worth it.

I mean, just look at these priceless rally cars. Yes, that’s a Lancia Stratos. And yes, that’s a V-4 engine under the hood of the red Lancia Fulvia. See how it’s hard to even?
