Mustang Driver Ran Over Boyfriend After Learning He Has HIV: Report

A few days ago, we posted a disturbing video of a cyclist getting mowed down by a Ford Mustang. The alleged driver, Misty Lee Wilke, was the cyclist’s girlfriend and had just learned that he was HIV-positive, reports King 5. The man was left injured from the impact, as the Mustang sped away.

Wilke was indicted by a Maricopa County grand jury for a number of charges over the hit-and-run incident, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, attempting to commit second degree murder and leaving the scene.

She has pled not guilty to the charges and is working with a court-appointed public defender.
