Today I find myself in Aspen, Colorado hobnobbing with millionaires (as I am wont to do) and set to drive the 2017 Jaguar XE sport sedan (which is new to me and America.) I’ll have a review of this thing soon enough; what do you want to know about it?
The XE is an all-new car for Jaguar, one that’s been on sale in Europe for a few months and has met with largely very positive reviews. It’s a critically important car for the brand too, as it’s Jag’s 3 Series/C-Class/A4/ATS/etc. fighter. They call it a “compact sports sedan,” but all of those are kind of big these days. It had better be good because it has the toughest competition around.
It looks like we’ll be driving the XE 35t, with a 340 horsepower supercharged V6 also found in the F-Type and a bunch of other Jaguar Land Rover cars, and the XE 20d, with a 180 HP diesel turbo four-cylinder. Great time for diesels in America, really.
It should be an interesting car and I’m excited to try it out. Ahead of the review, why don’t you tell me what you want to know about it?
Also let me know what else I should do in Aspen, Colorado. I have some ideas.
