Video has now emerged showing the terrifying situation on the interior of the Daallo Airlines flight that suffered an explosive decompression mid-air yesterday, with one person sucked from the aircraft and later found dead, and two others injured.
The video was filmed by a passenger on the Daallo Airlines flight that suffered an explosion just 15 minutes after take-off yesterday. The Sunday Morning Herald is claiming that one person was killed in the explosion and sucked from the aircraft, with two others being injured of the 74 passengers on board.
The Airbus A321 managed to return to the Somali capital of Mogadishu after the explosion, and the charred body of a person believed to be the victim of the explosion was found by local authorities on the ground in the Balcad area, which is about 30 miles from the capital.
Reuters is now reporting that American authorities are investigating the possibility of terrorism linked with the Al Shabaab militant group after initial tests of the aircraft fuselage showed positive signs of high-explosive material. There has been no announced claim by any group for the alleged attack.
