In the 1970s, Erwin Kremer and his brother Manfred looked at the factory Porsche turbo race cars and then turned them to twelve, because eleven just didn’t cut it anymore. What you’re about to see are three Porsche 935 K3s built be Kremer Motorsport doing some warm up laps.
This evolution of the 935 won the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans ahead of Porsche’s factory team, partly because the Kremers came up with a better intercooler system and partly because they got the weather on their side too. But that not important right now.
Right now, what you need to learn is that Kremers don’t use turbos, they use TURBOS!!! These cars don’t feature whale tails, but WHALE TAILS! Blue whale ones!!! You haven’t really seen widebody racecars before Kremer WIDEBODIES. That’s what under wide in the dictionary in the Cologne area.
What flames. You mean the FLAMES?!
