You may not know this, but modern Ferraris have this neat little bar on the passenger’s side of the dash that lets them see a digital RPM counter and the speedometer. I’m not sure what the point of it is, though. Impressing people? Doesn’t everything else about the Ferrari already do that?
Anyway, it’s on the new 488 Spider too, and reader MarquetteLa thinks it’s pretty cool. Which it is, albeit pointless. But then Brian, The Life Of races an important concern:
I have definitely been there too. Maybe someone should make such a speedometer, Brian. And while they’re at it, maybe one where the cops can’t figure out how fast I’m driving either?
