Ever wonder what World War II would have looked like if it were fought with X-Wings and TIE fighters? Me neither, but this short film that puts an old war bonds ad in the Star Wars universe is incredibly well done and insanely entertaining.
The Rebel Alliance has sided with the allied forces, and of course Darth Vader rolls with Hitler.
My favorite is Admiral Ackbar hanging with General MacArthur. No, wait, the scene where all the army guys have light sabers! Actually instead of GIF-fying every three seconds of this I’ll just let you watch it.
The movie was put together by Iron Horse Cinema, who are hoping you’ll love it and help fund the Star Wars fan film they’re trying to put out next year.
