“Been a while since I’ve heard some news on the Ford Focus RS,” you might be saying. “What’s up?” I’ll tell you what’s up — 345 horsepower is what’s up.
Originally said to be around 320 HP, it seems the lunatics at Ford Performance have even more juice in store for us. The car’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost™® four-cylinder engine is rated at 345 HP and 324 pound-feet of torque, which can be overboosted up to 347 pound-feet. Holy smokes.
That’s an awful lot of power for a small, five-door hatchback, but it’s backed up by an innovative torque vectoring all-wheel drive system that allows it to get the ass out. (Two words: Drift Mode.)

Anyone else really, really excited for this bad boy? I sure am.
