Who ever said car parts should be exclusive to cars?
10.) Camshaft – Lamp
Share your love for all things internal combustion with all your house guests with a camshaft lamp. This one pictured uses a camshaft from a Kawasaki motorcycle, but any camshaft should do the trick.
Turbos and air filters also make great lamps as well.

9.) Brake Drum – Drum
After you upgrade your car to disc brakes, you can take the old brake drums and make drums! Yes, the kinds of drums you hit with mallets and sticks. They're very popular in modern classical music.

8.) V8 – Chainsaw
If regular chainsaws aren't over the top enough for you, just make one powered by a big block V8. Any motor should do the trick, but somehow a V8 feels the most appropriate.

7.) Pickup Bed – Trailer
Do you ever feel like trailers are too expensive? If so, drag your V8 chainsaw down to the local junkyard and and make yourself a trailer out of an old truck bed. Easily doubles the practicality of your pickup.

6.) Rubber Suspension Bushing – Dog Toy
The very popular Kong rubber dog toys are actually based of a rubber suspension bushing from a VW bus. Joe Markham, the creator, was working on his Bus when his dog started playing with the bushing.
Markham made his own version based on the VW part, and it became one of the most popular dog toys ever.

5.) Car Seat – Chair/Sofa
This one's pretty obvious but still great. Car seats are designed to be comfortable over a long period of time, so they're excellent for the home or office.
Plus, they can be made on the cheap if you pay a visit to your local junkyard.
