Unlimited hydroplane racing is one of the fastest ways to travel on water, and each boat is powered by a 3000 HP turbine engine out of a Chinook helicopter. The boats are capable of speeds of over 200 MPH, and when they hit a bump they can get a bit, well, flippy.
Oh, and the drivers strap in with an oxygen mask like they're fighter pilots:
I now love everything about this type of racing, and no, you could never convince me to do it.
