This might not be the glorious reveal we were hoping for, but these are the first really real photos of the Aston Martin Lagonda, courtesy of a partnership between the automaker and Oman Air.
The Middle Eastern airline has been chosen to bring the Lagonda to Muscat – the capital of Oman – for hot weather testing before deliveries begin next year, and considering the only people that can buy the Lagonda live in that region, it makes sense.
We still don't have any details about the powertrain or interior, but some version of Aston's tried-and-true 5.9-liter, 560-hp V12 is almost assured, and we're still holding our breath for a mind-blowing dash that apes all the right stuff from the '80s version. But until we know more, here's the official announcement from Oman Air.
