The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is a stunning sports car; no one can dispute that. It's also said to be the quickest Jaguar you can currently buy. But all that style and speed will not come cheap.
Jaguar announced that the U.S.-spec F-Type Project 7, set to debut at the Pebble Beach this weekend, will cost $165,000. That's about $100,000 more than a base-model F-Type Coupe.

Then again, the Project 7 sports a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 good for 575 horsepower, a custom aero kit that pays homage to Jaguar's racing heritage, and a top speed of 186 mph.
Production will be limited to 250 units globally, Jag says. It's an amazing car, for sure. But is it enough to run with high-end 911s and the like?
