A Santa Fe woman was wondering why her Toyota Tacoma stopped when passerby Jackson Ault rendered assistance. He popped the hood like a gentleman then "freaked out a little bit" when he was greeted by a seven-foot python "flicking its little tongue, lookin' right at me."
Luckily Santa Fe PD had one officer on duty, Louis Carlos, who had some kinda parseltongue talents and didn't mind "babysitting the snake until Animal Control arrived."
Here's the clip from KOAT 7 News in New Mexico:
The snake was likely seeking warmth in the engine bay, but I'm still wondering where the hell it came from so I can keep my vehicles well clear.
