We're living in a global society now. A society where a car isn't necessarily a product of the nation where the company is based. What car currently on sale is the most American without actually being American?
Some foreign cars are built in the USA of American made party, yes, that technically makes them American but the character isn't quintessentially American.
Character says a lot about a car. Cadillacs are now European sports sedans, but something like a Hyundai Equus is a soft cruiser that could be considered a successor to that relaxed American style of cruising. Hot rods like a C63 AMG would also be an homage to our hot rodding past.
