His official bio on his website lists his interests as "golf, reading, family," which is hilariously mundane when you consider that when Ed Brown isn't running a much-enjoyed spirits company he's racing cars. Ask him about drinking, cars, or golf below.
Many credit Brown with changing Patron's reputation from something you chug at a party to something you sip at a night club. And part of that shift in marketing has been a focus on racing, with Patron sponsoring numerous series and cars.
Brown started racing in a 911 GT2 Cup car in the Challenge class before moving onto the Patron GT3 Challenge series and, eventually, with Extreme Speed Motorsports to race in the HPD P2 car, earning his first podium at the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
How do you explain so much awesomeness? He's a University of Texas graduate.
