This one came from pre-mandatory helmet law times in California. west-coaster:

Q: You should always wear a helmet when you ride because:

A: It will keep your head warm.

B: It identifies you as a motorcyclist.

C: It will protect your head in the event of a crash.

Somehow, riding a motorcycle doesn't identify you as a motorcyclist, but your helmet does. Fashion, you fools!
