The US Navy's Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, or SWCCs, are the world's premier littoral special operations insertion force. They fittingly get to drive a whole bunch of bad boats and shoot a bunch of awesome machine guns. Until a fish smacks them in the goddamn face.
This ad is very typical of military recruiting these days, right up until the kicker at the end. If this is the new norm for Navy advertising, then I'm okay with it. Because all military recruiting videos should come with outtakes that often reflect reality much better than the ad itself.
