Unlike the Mercedes Vision Gran Turismo that is already available to download in Gran Turismo 6, BMW's concept for the game seems to have taken a few pages from reality. This looks like it could be an actual race car that could actually be built by BMW.
Even the specs seem real. BMW says that the Vision Gran Turismo has 549 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque from its twin-turbo 3.0 liter straight six. It has 50:50 weight distribution, rear-wheel drive, and spoilers and wings to create downforce.
BMW calls it a "uncompromising road racer for the modern era" which is marketing mumbo jumbo for "this is awesome and we want to build this but because you jamokes won't buy it we can't build it so it's in a video game boooooooooooooooo."
