When we first saw what we thought was the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, we were a little disappointed in the looks department. The good news is that that wasn't it. The bad news is that it isn't so much different. The better news is that this refreshed model comes with all sorts of neat features.
Like all cars meant for the Youths these days, the upgrades mainly come in the form of enhanced user technology and communications. In this case, the Cruze comes with 4G LTE attached to its OnStar system – and the best part about that, beyond OnStar, is that a new available options allows you to use the car like a giant WiFi hotspot.
And that allows you to connect up to seven devices, much like the more expensive Audi A3, which connects eight.
Other tech upgrades include more USB slots, and the ability to connect Apple devices running iOS 6 and beyond to the car, allowing you to integrate Siri for all your voice control needs.
No matter what phone you're using it'll read you your text messages over Bluetooth. Because when you just absolutely have to know what your friend Mandy is telling you, well, you just absolutely have to know what Mandy is telling you. Better than actually trying to read it on your phone and hitting a small child, I guess.
And we it's still got an available diesel!
Alright, so none of these changes will set your heart aflame, but it's not exactly a new Lamborghini, it's a mid-cycle Chevy economy car refresh, so that's alright.
Oh yeah. It's got "revised cupholders." So, yeah. Cupholders.
