What's cooler than a Martini Racing Porsche Turbo race car? A Martini Racing Porsche Turbo race car you can put on your shelf. Excuse me, I need to go to the toy store now.
What you see here is the Martini International Team of a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.1 Turbo, 935/76 Turbo, 935/78 Moby Dick, 936/77, Volkswagen T1 and Ford C-Type race car transporter, made of Lego.
While we've seen a few amazing Lego Porsches before, Malte Dorowski's creations are on a whole new level simply because he chose to build Martini Racing cars. Can't go wrong with that one.
Here's what he had to say about this set, with the main attraction being the RSR Turbo:
In 1974 this car started what would become a long string of turbocharged 911 based racecars. With radical new aerodynamics, Martini sponsorship and a 2.1 liter 500 horsepower flat six-cylinder engine, the factory campaigned two of these cars in the World Manufacturers Championship races around the globe.
Lego turbo flat-six! Lego turbo flat-six! Lego turbo flat-six! Plus a Ford truck.
