How The Hell Did This Reckless Camaro Driver Not Kill Anyone?

You know how it is. You're out on a canyon road, enjoying a nice drive, and then some asshat in a Camaro nearly takes out two cars with an ill-advised pass on a blind curve. This is why we can't have nice things.

This video comes to us from Reddit's r/cars, where redditor humanwire says he got a very quick and nearly disastrous reminder of why he doesn't like to drive Malibu Canyon Road.

He says that as he was driving along, a group of three cars — an M3, a Mazdaspeed3, and a Camaro — came up behind him. Everything seemed fine until the Camaro pulled a Leeroy Jenkins and barreled past his car into the oncoming lane, a move humanwire caught on camera.

A pass that close to a corner is stupid on a good day, and this was even worse because the Camaro nearly hit an oncoming Volvo and that Ford Explorer. I'm amazed he didn't hit anyone. This could have ended so much worse than it did.

I really feel bad for that Explorer driver, who pulled to the side to deal with a completely justifiable freakout. The folks in that Volvo probably felt the same way too.
