The Blue Devil has returned from the pits of Hell stronger than ever! That, or you just can't keep a good Corvette down, even if it was stuck in a sinkhole for weeks.

Officials at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky today began the process of extracting eight Corvettes from the sinkhole they plunged into a few weeks ago. First up was this 2009 Corvette ZR1 "Blue Devil" on loan from General Motors.

Not only did they get it out in one piece, the tough son of a bitch started under its own power and even drove forward. Huzzah! Let's hope the rest of the recovery will go this well.
