There's no beating around the bush on this one. It's a slick Porsche race car, surrounded by gritty containers. It's a perfect combination, and it's awesome.
While we usually feature photos from individual photographers here on the Weekend Wallpaper, this shot for Falken Tire just can't be passed up. Taken at the Mainz container yard in Germany where the tires arrive fresh from Japan, it provides that exact balance between straight lines and ridiculous curvature. Photographer Frederic Schlosser spent eight hours photographing the car until two in the morning, just for some perfect shots.
I'm usually nonplussed by 911 GT3Rs at this point, but a race through a container yard in one looks like it would be the greatest thing in the world.
