For those coming into contact with a 2015 Tahoe PPV, it'll start appearing early next year in 2WD pursuit, 4WD special service and, later, 4WD pursuit versions. All get the same 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower that's in civilian models, which also includes direct injection and cylinder deactivation to lessen the burden on police/fire department budgets.
