Decided you love the engine in the Ford Raptor so much that you want to put it in other things? A 6.2-liter V8 is a bit much for a blender, of course. But a boat? Yeah, that'd work.
Ford is heralding their return to marine engines, after a 20-year absence, announcing today at SEMA (where else?) that it's teamed with Indmar Marine Engines to essentially bring the Raptor to the water.
Seems like Indmar is a big fan of the Raptor's V8 and will offer it in three different levels of output for the marine market. In the truck, it makes 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, so, yeah, that's a good start.
