Like it or not, the Nürburgring Nordschleife is the ultimate test of a car's performance. 12.93 miles, 154 turns and ten of the best laps you'll ever see.
10.) Porsche Carrera GT
Because V10. I know I said my favorite is the LFA's, but this is the second. Mark Basseng is behind the wheel.

9.) Bi-Turbo VW Transporter
I know most of you like Sabine's crazy laps with the Ford Transit shot by Top Gear, but while they had a script, this guy didn't. What he had instead was a T5 Transporter running on a Bilstein suspension, powered by a bi-turbo diesel putting out 220 horsepower. Fast deliveries.

8.) 1964 Ford Fairlane 500
Because 'Murica. Seriously, this V8 brute is pretty awesome.

7.) Heidfeld in his F1 BMW
Nick Heidfeld made history in 2007 as the first driver in over 30 years to tackle the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a contemporary Formula One car. Looks like he had fun.
Formula cars on the other hand still make regular rounds around the track, come rain or snow...

6.) Viper ACR-X
While the new SRT Viper did it in 7:12, it still has a lot to learn from the old ACR-X.

5.) 1967 Grand Prix
Safety regulations? What are you on about? Just watch out there and carry on.

4.) Radical SR8
Do you want to learn how to be the fastest there? Just listen to Michael Vergers, he went there with a "road legal" British car. You know what that means.

3.) Derek Bell in Porsche 956
The Radical wasn't fast enough for you? Welcome to Group C. As in crazy.

2.) Leh Keen's Rain Dance
I love driving on the highway in heavy rain, but what Leh Keen did behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 R scares the hell out of me. No wonder the race got a 9 hour red flag soon after this.

1.) Yellowbird
Can't beat the original. What Ruf did there never gets boring.
