While the whole world is going nuts over the amazing 2014 Corvette Stingray, it's easy to forget that the outgoing C6 Corvette is still damn good at what it does, even if it's not as high-tech or refined. It's even better when it's supercharged and tuned to 1,000 horsepower.
Our pal Ash Turner took a spin in a Stage 5R Dallas Performance Corvette Z06, and he was kind enough to bring some video cameras along when he did. Thanks to a whole host of modifications — all of which can be found on the YouTube video's description — the already nasty 'Vette gets a positively terrifying level of power and sound.
Just don't stand behind that exhaust. It looks like it will knock you over, make you deaf, or set you on fire. Possibly all three. WHOOOOOSH!
