When some people dream of hitting the Powerball or finally pulling off that big casino heist they’ve been planning for years, they imagine the huge garage of amazing cars they’ll own. Me, I’m a man of simple tastes. I’d be happy with just two cars in my garage.
Like the guy from MotorMavens that Petrolicious profiled recently. He owns and drives two AE86s. (Not at the same time, of course.) If that’s his dream, good for him, but I’m sure others will see things differently.
That’s our question of the day: What’s the perfect pair of cars to own?
I can’t say these are my dream cars, per se, but last month I spent time in a Range Rover followed by an F-Type R (which you’ll probably read about soon.) And I thought to myself that if I owned both of them at once, that would be a pretty amazing two-car garage. I’d name them Monday Through Friday and Saturday And Sunday, respectively.
As for dream cars, if I had a Citroën DS and an air-cooled Porsche 911 at once, I’d have no complaints. My bank account, on the other hand...
What two cars would be ideal to have at once?
Update: Shit. It occurred to me immediately after I posted this that we did this exact question a few months ago:
Sorry about that, we try to avoid overlap but it happens. I’m sure you fine people can come up with new answers!
