Law enforcement agencies from across the U.S. have reached out to Jalopnik for help with car identifications since your input was "critical" to solving a hit-and-run earlier this year. This time we've got a Redditor who was the victim of a hit-and-run.
He says he was hit by a truck with the mirror pictured above and below. Can you identify the mirror and help this person out?
Here's the full text from user June6HitandRun, who I'm guessing was hit on June 6th.
While cycling, I was a victim of a hit & run today. Officer who came to the scene didn't seem to care much, didn't collect this evidence, so I took it home. Vehicle was a red (pick-up?) truck. Can a helpful redditor find out more about what kind of truck this was?
A large number of Redditors have reached out to us asking if we can put our crack team of car identifiers on the case. Here's your chance to help.
What's the truck?
