Popular NYC food truck Frites 'N' Meats burst into flames after colliding with a car on NYC's West Side Highway earlier this week, causing a propane tank to explode. Two workers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening "burns and bruises."

According to its Twitter account, by which its followers track the truck's location, the accident happened at around 3:30 pm, after it had left a lunchtime location at 52nd street, and was headed downtown for the dinner rush. A staple of Manhattan's food-truck scene, Frites 'N' Meats is known as a purveyor of particularly awesome burgers and fries. The crash caused major traffic tie-ups during rush hour on Monday.

Other local NYC food trucks, like the Rickshaw Truck, are donating a percentage of their sales this week to benefit Frites 'N' Meats.
