You may lament the widening inequity of wealth in this country, but damned if there aren't way more supercars on the road than there used to be. And as the Wall Street Journal points out today, that's just fine unless you're one of those guys who wraps their Lambo around a bridge abutment on the way to MBA class. Apparently wrecking expensive cars isn't just the domain of drink-addled rock stars or Swedish underworld figures anymore. Check out these stats from the great state of Californication:

According to the California Highway Patrol, the total number of accidents involving Aston Martins, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Lotuses and Maseratis rose to 141 last year, an 81% increase from 2002.
