Your Ridiculously Awesome Toyota Celica Wallpaper Is Here

The A20-generation Toyota Celica is one of the coolest cars Japan ever built. Styled to vaguely ape the proportions of early 1970s American pony cars, the first-gen is often referred to colloquially as the ‘Mustang Celica’. It’s a great shape that looks even better in these awesome photos from Derick Yan.

He wants one of these great photos to be your new desktop wallpaper, and frankly I do, too. Click here to get the front view, or here to get the back.

My first car was a 1977 Toyota Celica. It was gifted to me in 1999 when I was 18 years old.

It was not in mint condition, but looked good for her age. I parked at a “park and go” station to jump on the Cal Train (a commuter train that ran from San Jose to San Francisco) to meet up with some friends that evening.

When I came back, it was gone.

I filed a police report, but I never saw it again and the police never found it.
