Working for a Living: 1958 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery

The whole concept of the sedan delivery station wagon is lost on many of us who grew up during the van age. By the 1960s, the big three all sold economical box vans that made such cars, like this 1958 Chevrolet, obsolete for florists, locksmiths, painters and anyone else who had to haul a small amount of really light stuff a short distance. But the cars lived on for hot rodders because, at least at first, they could be had for cheap, and they often had the same big-ass V8s that powered other cars of the time. Neil Young even sang a song about one (actually, it's more of an acid trip set to music). This is but one, really cool example of what could be accomplished on a station wagon with sheetmetal where the rear windows used to be. Flowers? Deliver them yourself.
