Who Can Put The New Holden Commodore Together?

I'm worried about Australia. They continued on with gloriously huge V8-driven, rear-wheel-drive sedans and utes long after the Americans gave up the ghost. Occasionally, they would make their way over here, but never for long. It left the rest of us longing for tire-smoking Aussie cars we would never get.

But now the future of RWD muscle in Australia is looking increasingly in doubt. As Motor Trend reported earlier this week, sales of these cars are dwindling in their home country. The Holden Commodore may not be around past 2016, and Alan "One Ford" Mulally sees no value in having models sold in just one individual market. That may mean Ford could pull the plug on one of Australia's biggest motoring icons.

Despite this, GM is bringing out a new Commodore, although who knows how long it will be sticking around. Holden has launched a promotional website where you can enter a contest where you "put the Commodore together" by finding pictures of it in various cities and online.

But Holden's own website more or less has all the pieces of the VF Commodore ready to go — they just need to be put together. I could probably do it if I had an afternoon to kill in Photoshop, but I don't.
