What's The Most Valuable Car In The World?

Earlier this month, someone threw down a record $35 million to buy a green Ferrari 250 GTO. We at Jalopnik think that record could be broken, and we just need the right car to do it.

We need a car that is even more historic and desirable than the 250 GTO, but isn't yet on sale. Why not Stirling Moss' 1,000 miles in 10 hours Mercedes 300 SLR he ran in the '55 Mille Miglia? If it was ever auctioned off, it would have no trouble beating that wimpy, disposable Ferrari. What do you think is the most expensive car right now that just isn't for sale?
